AFAMI gene therapy for synovial sarcoma
Afamitresgene autoleucel (afami-cel), a newly approved gene therapy, is designed to treat adults with advanced or metastatic synovial sarcoma. This therapy is tailored for patients whose tumors express the MAGE-A4 antigen and who have certain HLA antigens (HLA-A*02 subtypes).
